Q1. What is the interesting thing about Saibrindavan?

Sai Brindavan is a place chosen by Sri Sainath himself where he made his appearance for the sake of humanity. The divine Services like Namam (Chanting God's Name), Dhupam (offer incense) and Annadanam (feed the hungry) which are very dear to Baba are practically seen in Sai Brindavan Pilgrimage.

The chanting of Lord Sri Sai’s name continuously day and night from the year 2000 turned Sai Brindavanam into a great Holy Pilgrimage Center according to Sri Sainath.

Q3. Who is the founder of the Trust? What is the goal of the trust?

A great worshipful saint, Sri Ghanta Narayana Swamiji, founded the Vishwa Santhi Sai Seva & Prachar Samaj Charitable Trust  in August 24, 2000. With the blessings of Sri Sainath Sri Swamiji started serving humanity and spreading the golden path of Sri Sai Baba's Philosophy through his hard manual work to propagate love and brotherhood in the society and to promote universal peace.

Vishwa Shanthi Sai Seva & Prachar Samaj Charitable Trust is mainly focused on the thought of "Service to Humanity is Service to God".  Return to Top

Q5. How can I reach Sai Brindavan ?

Regular APSRTC Bus Service from Dilshuknagar to Sai Brindavan (Up to door steps of the Pilgrimage) is available at 9:30 am, 12:15 pm, 4:30 pm, and 7:15 pm.

Q6. How far it is from Hyderabad City?

.From Hyderabad city to Bhatasingaram Village, it is 25 km and then from Bhatasingaram to Sai Brindavanam, it is 4 km. Regular APSRTC BUS Service from Dilshuknagar to Saibrindavan (up to door steps of the pilgrimage) at 9:30 am, 12:15 pm, 4:30 pm, 7:15 pm . Bus Route No: 463 .

Q7. How can I join in Sai Seva  activities ?

You may participate in Arathis, which are given four times a day in Gurusthan. You may also participate in Sai Nama Sankeerthan in the Bhajan Hall as well as the Pallaki Procession, which takes place on every Thursday at 7:30 pm.

Special prayers will be performed on occasional days such as festivals like Gurupournima.

Sai Brindavan’s Anniversary celebration takes place every year in August. Anniversary Celebrations for Sri Saibaba Idol Installation occur in Gurusthan every year in May.Return to Top


Q8. What services are done by the Trust?

The Trust also arranged for the Redcross Society to donate clothes to victims of the devastating cyclone in Orissa. The Trust also organized 42 Chalivendras (Drinking water facilities) at various places across the state during severe summers in 1999 and 2000. The trust is also providing medical attention and relevant aid. Free Eye check-ups have been made on May 25, 2006, in Sai Brindavan by experienced doctors. Necessary Eye Surgeries were performed as well. Educational Aid was also provided to more than 120 students. Special prayers were perfomed for special purposes to welfare of the world.  Return to Top


Q9. What is the importance of Dhuni Puja?

The Devotees are well aware of the miraculous performance of the Dhuni by the grace of Baba at this pilgrimage center. The Devotees who performed special pujas, which are being conducted at the Dhuni, are getting their desires fulfilled instantaneously: unwed devotees are getting married, unemployed are getting employed, health and family problems are disappearing and all other wants are fulfilled immediately.Return to Top


Q10. What is the specialty of sacred trees in Sai Brindavan?

Of particular signficance is the existence of the three sacred trees, Medi, Peepul (Raavi) and Neem (Vepa), at one place in Sai Brindavanam.

Such a confluence of mighty trees at one place is a great event according to puranas. These holy and mighty trees at one place make Sai Brindavanam the most suitable place for meditation, japas, recitation, and pradakshana. It gives Sarva Papa Haranam, Sarava Roga Nivaranam, Mruthunjayam, Satru Bhaya Nivaranam, and Sat Santana Karakam. It is a vedic saying. Return to Top

Q12. Can I serve in any other form other than by donating money?

Yes. You can donate cooking items, clothes, and/or daily needed things for the orphans and the elders. You can also donate unwanted things such as old clothes.Return to Top


Q13. Why is a visit to Sai Brindavan valuable for tourists? 

Sai Brindavan is a spiritual place as well as an environmental friendly tourist place that attracts many visitors.

This pilgrimage is very scenic. Attractive gardens, hills and valleys surround it. This healthy and pleasing environment ensures protection from pollution and it is filled with Baba’s bliss. Visitors are also getting emotionally moved by the melodious heavenly music of Sai Namam, which keeps them in a state of ecstasy in a high spirited environment.
